Dr. Alex Tang

GENERAL DENTIST, ASSOCIATE

Dr. Tang was born and raised in Abbotsford, BC. He is of Chinese and Vietnamese descent. He is the son of refugees and grew up on a farm, where his family built a new life from the ground up. Their journey taught Dr. Tang the importance of resilience, gratitude, and community. Working alongside his family on the farm instilled in him a deep respect for hard work and caring for others. These are values he brings into his work every day.

Dr. Tang’s journey eventually took him to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to attend the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. There he graduated the top of his class and served as valedictorian. He received the Dean’s award for exemplary care and was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honor Society in recognition of his dedication to patient care and academic excellence.

Beyond dentistry, he finds balance in spending time with family, playing golf, watching movies and enjoying a good meal. Terrified of the dentist as a child, he decided to sit in the chair himself. His calm and approachable nature helps patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they meet him.
