Providing the service level that is best for you
We recognize that people have different needs and goals. Some patients visit us for urgent or remedial care, others are seeking complete and optimal dentistry – we welcome all patients.
Whatever the individual level of care that’s right for you, we provide a wide range of general and specialty dental services in one place.
Our services
-
New patient consultations
We are accepting new patients. If you only want to see us for an urgent problem or a specific issue, we can start with just that. Or, if you’re unable to chew, speak or smile the way you want to, we can help you to build a more comprehensive plan.
-
Preventive dentistry
Preventive care lies at the heart of dentistry and contributes to your overall health as well. Dentists mostly deal with two preventable conditions - dental decay and gum disease - as well as damage and injury to the teeth, gums and jaws. To support your oral health, we offer routine check-ups, dental hygiene services, personalized preventive advice, and protective devices.
-
Children’s (pediatric) dentistry
Primary teeth are important for a child’s normal development. They help children chew, make room for adult teeth, influence speech, and build confidence. Tooth decay can begin as soon as teeth appear (around the age of 6 months) and progresses quickly which is why the first dental visit should be at age one.
-
Emergency dentistry
We treat emergencies like uncontrolled bleeding, swelling, trauma, or severe pain. Less urgent issues should also be addressed promptly to prevent them from becoming bigger, more complicated and more expensive to deal with.
-
One-visit crowns
Large fillings can leave teeth weak and may require a crown. Traditionally, this meant two visits with a temporary crown in between, but with CEREC technology, a permanent crown can often be fitted in a single appointment.
-
Restorative dentistry
Tooth repairs don't always have to be complex. Our dentists can often restore decayed or damaged teeth with conservative, natural-looking fillings.
-
Prosthetic dentistry
We offer the full range of options to replace missing teeth including removable partial or full dentures, bridges, and a variety of implant-based solutions.
-
Dental implants
Dental implants are artificial tooth root replacements made of titanium. They are surgically placed into the jaw bone where they fuse to the bone during healing. Most commonly a single implant replaces a single missing tooth but multiple implants can support as many artificial teeth as necessary on a wide variety of innovative platforms These most closely resemble natural teeth in terms of chewing ability, feel, and maintenance.
Dental implants are artificial roots for teeth that are surgically inserted and bonded to the jawbone. They offer a strong and low-maintenance solution that closely resembles natural teeth.
-
Oral surgery
Teeth may be extracted due to pain, infection, fracture, or orthodontic needs. We perform both simple and complex extractions for primary and adult teeth, or will refer you to a specialist if appropriate. Other procedures include biopsies and gum or bone reshaping to aid restorative care.
-
Sedation
Our general dentists are qualified to administer oral (single agent) sedation for adults with low medical risk, reducing anxiety and promoting a more comfortable experience during appointments.
-
Geriatric and special-care dentistry
We have experience in providing and coordinating oral care services for people with physical, medical, developmental, or cognitive conditions.
-
Cosmetic dentistry
Cosmetic treatments alter the shape, symmetry and colour of your teeth to improve or idealize your smile, restoring the smile you used to have, or creating a smile you’ve always wanted. These range from simple to complex treatment plans, and we can guide you through the options depending on your goals. Treatments might involve veneers, crowns, teeth whitening, neuromodulator injections (e.g. Botox), orthodontics or a combination of these.
-
Teeth whitening
Teeth whitening is a safe way to remove stains and brighten your smile. We provide both take-home and in-office options and will help you choose what works best.
-
Aligner orthodontics
Straightening teeth and improving bite alignment were traditionally done with wired braces, but in many cases can now be done using a sequence of clear orthodontic aligners. Aligners are custom-made, removable, transparent plastic orthodontic appliances that incrementally move teeth toward a planned result designed by one of our dentists.
-
In-house specialist: endodontist
Our general dentists treat most painful, injured, or abscessed teeth; complex cases are referred to endodontists. Endodontists diagnose and manage disease and injury of the pulp and tooth roots aiming to preserve teeth and relieve pain, typically using root canal therapy or root microsurgery.
-
In-house specialist: periodontist
Periodontics is a branch of dentistry that manages diseases and conditions affecting the supporting tissues around teeth and dental implants, and replaces missing teeth with dental implants. This can involve a variety of treatments including scaling and root planing, surgeries such as grafting, pocket reduction, and other therapies. Periodontal surgery may be needed so our general dentists can reliably complete a restorative or prosthetic dental procedure.
-
In-house specialist: oral medicine
This specialist bridges the gap between traditional areas of dentistry and medicine. They diagnose and manage oral lesions and orofacial disorders including: mouth ulcers, lumps and bumps in the mouth, facial nerve pains, dry mouth, taste changes, non-dental mouth pain, burning mouth/tongue, oral cancer and precancer. They also treat various jaw joint conditions and provide dental sleep medicine services including: TMJ disorders, jaw clenching and grinding, limited mouth opening, jaw muscle pain, headaches related to jaw joint problems, snoring and obstructive sleep apnea management using oral appliances.
